Piedmont Concrete & Masonry started in 2018 as a small crew doing brick and block work in Piedmont and the surrounding Oakland neighborhoods. The goal from the beginning was simple: give East Bay homeowners a masonry contractor who shows up, does the work right, and is honest about what a job actually needs.
Piedmont is a small city with character. Most homes here were built between the 1920s and 1940s - and working on houses that old means understanding century-old foundations, clay-heavy hillside soils, and the particular demands of the Bay Area rainy season. We pull permits through the City of Piedmont, know the local inspection process, and show up with the right materials the first time.
Today we serve 12 communities across the East Bay, from Richmond to Hayward, with the same crew-based approach we started with. No subcontractors, no hand-offs, and no surprises on the invoice.
